Tremblant Snow/Ski Video Reports

Well hello all.  Right now I’m at the Colorado/Nebraska border.  The skiing challenge starts in the am so those of you that signed up to donate for the first days skiing vertical totals will be able to fill in that amount tomorrow evening.  Look for videos and complete pictures tomorrow.

Currently it is snowing very hard. I’m writing this entry at 7:30pm EST, and it is dumping. Oh and it isn’t freezing anymore either.

End of the day I ran into this kid from the “Ski le Gap” group. He was skiing along and didn’t see the yellow market rope because the sun was in his eyes. Priceless

It was really cold today. I didn’t get out untill 1pm. La Soleil area was closed and so was the Duncan Chair because of the cold. Grand Prix, Zig Zag, and Vertige were closed for snowmaking. Didn’t make a difference really because there was nobody on the mtn skiing today. Frankly because it was freezing. Sunny and beautiful but freezing. Couldn’t even get my hands out to take pictures.

OK please dress warm. No exposed skin at all. Cover up and take breaks.

Last run of the day with some people that wanted to find the true Tremblant.

You know the really neat thing about what I do is I ski around and I see people that want to see more of Tremblant but they don’t know how. So I just walk up and say: “Hi, how would you like if I gave you a memory of a life time here at Tremblant” And then I show them the true Mont Tremblant and this wonderful mountain I call home.

And yes we have some really wicked terrain here. Come find me and let me show you.

You know there are days here that are just magical. I really don’t need to write how the day was. Just look at all the videos and you will see what an epic day and how wonderful Tremblant is and we have secret wicked terrain. Just find me and I’ll show you.

First off my apologies to all about not getting a report up yesterday. I did ski, but this flu started kicking in when I got home and it is here full bore now. But don’t fret I went to the Doctor and I will be able to report on this storm coming tomorrow.

We are supposed to get 20-30 cm by tomorrow evening. This snow storm is not going to really start to hit us untill around 7am tomorrow morning.

Now they are starting to build the south side expert park. You need to have an extra pass which costs $20 which can be purchased at the Customer Service desk. You will not be allowed on the south side expert park unless you have this extra pass. And you must wear a helmet.

Now since this 3″ of snowfall the other day conditions are starting to get back to what they were like before the Rword on Dec 27th. There are some icy spots, but those will most certainly be gone tomorrow.
