Well folks there is really no reason to tell you what the conditions are like. It is the end of the year and well. It’s the end of the year ok. So cherish each and every turn you make this last week, because it is 221 days till the lifts start turning again after we close. So enjoy the village Easter weekend video.
TREMBLANT GOT 4 FEET OF POWDER OVER NIGHT=April Fools
No honestly man it is going really fast. Lower expo at some points is down to a cat track wide. I hope the cats can push some snow around to keep it open this weekend. Vanier from Expo is closed too. So unless they can push snow on lower expo expect Expo and Cossak trails to be closed tomorrow because of no exit.
Superior, Dunan, Geant have the best snow still. But as warm as it is well it get’s slushy quick. Water spots on slopes were showing by 1pm. Other than that skiing is killer until just after 12 noon. And it is sunny and warm. Perfect Easter weekend.
You know there are some days in your life where you get the special opportunity to witness something special. Today I ran into Chris Holden. Chris is the “National Adaptive Developement” adaptive water ski, and snow ski disabled sit ski instructor. I was amazed at this mans ability and joy today.
You can find more information about the “Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing” @ www.cads-ncd.ca
Now we had extremely high winds this morning. Yes the gondola was open but they told everyone up front it would be a one hour ride to the top. So ITW staff bused everyone to the North side. The Duncan, Expo, Edge, and Lowell Thomas chairs ran throughout the day. The Duncan never really got past slow however.
Now even with it snowing as hard as it was, the winds made the top of the mountain a complete whiteout, with scetchy conditions untill you got below the wind. So the Edge was the place to be today and we tore it up.
Well the mtn got another inch of fluffy snow this morning, and we had snow squalls throughout the day. Snowmaking is blowing snow on Zig Zag and Vertige. The were running the La Soleil chair to get that ready to be open this weekend. That is correct. All of the Expo trails were groomed. So were the Soleil trails. Those areas will be open this weekend according to the information I have recieved.
And the cats have had 3 days to work on the trails since the Rword on Monday to help with the extra 9″ of snow we got in some spots on the mtn
Now we are going to get more snow this weekend and throughout the week. Snowmaking is going like crazy all over the mountain.
OK we did have top to bottom on the North side but it was only Beauchemin top to bottom on the North side that was open. The cats were working on Duncan, but they just started working on that trail as of 10am this morning.
Now on the south side Desserres bas was a baseball field of ice balls so best to avoid that. The rest of the mtn was great. Taschereau was open and it was a joyful playground of snowbubble bumps.
This weeks ski is the Volkl Tigershark all mtn ski

Well we got another 2-4″ of snow over night making this mornings turns another day in Paradise. So after a few fantastic turns I met up with. David Ogilvy and his young racers in Training, and let me tell you there is some serious local talent with these 10 year olds.
Well folks it is just dumping like crazy right now. Has been snowing since very early in the AM. However, there is very high winds that go along with this dumpage. The TGV chair was continually getting stopped by winds this morning so it was closed for a while.
The wind was blowing so hard that they had to park snowcats as wind blocks at the top of the gondola. Other than that it was blown snow on the trails, then cleared off by wind on the trails. Made skiing tricky.
Beauvallon to bottom
