LA DIABLE

Well yesterday I had the opportunity to play the Diable Golf Course. The course is an 18 hole executive course were all your service wants and desires are catered too. You can even order a meal at the 9th tee. People were great.

Now Diable kind of plays like a desert course IMHO. The wastes (long and I do mean long and wide traps) run throughout the course and have variable conditions from sand to dirt, to small rocks in some instances. But it isn’t called “wasteland” for nothing in golf.

Boy what a great opening weekend to summer. Sunny with pleasant temps. All the activities for the summer are in full swing.

I must say that Intrawest and the Mont-Tremblant Bike club did an outstanding job on the mountain bike races held this weekend in Tremblant. Saturday was the endurance race running through the village.

Sunday was the Canada Cup down hill race. Quite a course was laid out, and it was dry so it made for some very fast decents under 5 minutes. But after the race I wanted to show you some of the outlying trails we have here and some of the many interesting sites that you can see along the way.

Well yesterday was my first day doing the Weds Evening ride with the bike club here. We started from Old Mont Tremblant Village and winded our way around the rivers and valleys of the region. Cutting in between the very nice paved trails we have here and some single track.

It was a beautiful day and the pictures and videos speak for themselves.

Well the mountain biking and Golf are starting. La Diable golf course opens this friday, and next week is the big mountain biking race.

Now this summer our report use has been expanded. We will be doing video reports on every singe activity Tremblant has to offer. And these are just a few.
Horseback riding, Mountain Biking, Road Biking, Luge, Rock climbing, Swimming/Beach, Wake boarding/water skiing, Slide for life, Kayaking/Canoe, Sailing, Hiking, Golfing, Blues/Music Festivals, wildlife shows, etc etc etc
