Tremblant’s Daily Honest Snow Report w/videos “FEB 26 AND 28″

Thursday was foggy like hell all day long. You couldn’t see two feet infront of you sometimes it seemed from the fog and the mist. But the snow was great and soft.

But today since the heavy Rain on Friday and then the 2″ of snow that fell after that made things on the mtn very firm to say the least. It seamed like all the cats did was use the brushers last night. I think the big grinding will begin tonight so look for conditions to improve tomorrow, but there will be golf balls.

McCulloch you can hear the ice below my skis

Tremblant’s Daily Honest Snow Report w/videos “JUST ANOTHER POWDER DAY IN THE SUN”

Remember this from Yesteday

VISIT OUR WINTER CARNIVAL WHILE YOU ARE HERE
La Féerie des Glaces.

OK. Well we got about another 2″ of snow after the lifts closed yesterday, but we also had high winds which made the Edge glades wind chalky. But the stashes were great. La Soleil had the best snow of anybody.

Tiguido to glades to stash. What a great ride.

Tremblant’s Daily Honest Snow Report w/videos “MON 23 FEB”

Well it has been basically snowing since early Sunday morning and hasn’t stopped. The conditions are just in credible. Seriously the conditions are great. There are no crowds either. The only crowds we had was on Saturday and that is because that was a T66 pass. Now tomorrow will be as well and with these freshies we should be busier.

Taking the stash road. hehehehehee

La Féerie des Glaces.

Do you guys remember the Glades Simon Cooper. We it is still there. And it is still the best run on the mountain

Tremblant’s Daily Honest Snow Report w/videos “FRESHIES”

Well I have to tell you today was killer this morning. 8″ of fresh and fluffy powder. Words really don’t do it justice. It was a bit windy and a bit cold this morning. That and today was a T-66 pass day so it was busy as hell by 10am. But if you skied the singles line and avoided the gondola you were OK.

Edge area and Emotion trail.

Tremblant’s Daily Honest Snow Report w/videso “FRI 20 FEB”

OK we got another 2″ of snow overnight, and the temps dropped. Todays high was in the upper teens ,but with the wind chill it made it seem much much colder. But like I said it was light snow this morning and then around 1pm it started snowing really hard. And it is still snowing really hard and it is windy. My suggestion in the morning is to park on the north side incase the gondola isn’t running because of wind.

So get some sleep. Drink some water, and get ready to rip it up tomorrow because it is going to be an epic powderday.

And don’t forget to visit our winter carnival. La Féerie des Glaces.

Tremblant’s Daily Honest Ski/Snow Report w/videos “4 inches of new snow”

Don’t forget about the Nelly O’Conner’s St Patrick’s day party.

Now today was pretty good. We got about 4″ of heavy wet stuff as you can see by the photo below. However I must tell you all that “In My Humble Opinion” I don’t think anybody really groomed last night. Seriously even Beauvallon was bumped at 8:30am this morning. Serious grooming work does need to be done on Fuddle Duddle, Grand Prix, bottom face of Superior, Expo, bottom corners in La Soleil.

80’s party is tonight at Ptit Caribou bar. It is going to be a good time indeed.

Tremblant’s Daily Honest Ski/Snow Report w/videos “MON 16 FEB”

11:45am

Well the conditions are still greatly improving since last week, but a few runs still need some attention. MCA, Fuddle Duddle, Grand Prix, Zig Zag, Vertige, Expo. You could still find some little golf balls in a few spots, but that is a very few spots now. The snow is granular. Like skiing on a really loose snowcone.

I met up with “RichiRich” from the message board today. Made some nice turns. He has really improved over the years. I didn’t have to wait for him. LOL

Taschereau was in pretty good condition, but stay to the left hand side.

Tremblant’s Daily Honest Ski/Snow Report w/videos “WEEKEND EDITION”

OK. I’ve been getting some requests for the terrain park. So here is a video for you. There are more terrain park videos to follow. Now the parks are in pretty good shape but the landings pretty hard so be prepared. And wear body armor if you have it.

PLEASE GROOM “FUDDLE DUDDLE”. It is frozen ICE MINI-VOLKSWAGONS. It is not that fun to ski and people would like to ski it. Merci
