Sunshine did come out for a bit today. On Beauchemin

I ran into these guys that wanted to ski the real stuff. I put them through their paces.

Everything is open. Infact the trees have thigh deep goodness it it.

Tremblant’s Daily Honest Ski/Snow Report w/videos “WED 28 JAN”

Well at about 8am this morning it started snowing lightly, but by 1pm it was down right dumping with very high winds. The Flying Mile Chair today did not run because of the winds. The La Soleil and Duncan chairs were running today.

Honestly with the snow falling there was nobody on the mtn. No ice to be found either. The conditions are great. Just set back and enjoy the videos.

Ice Sculptures are almost completed in Saint Jovite.

Now tomorrow will be epic powder turns the way this snow is coming down so check out the videos tomorrow because we will be going into terrain you have never seen before here.

Tremblant’s Daily Honest Snow and Ski report w/videos “MONDAY 26 JAN”

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I waited until noon before I went skiing today. Temps were cold, but are warming up now. That’s what happens on full moon clear nights here. Them temps get very cold. Because of this the will not run the Duncan and La Soleil quads. Mainly because those chairs are so long that if there were any malfunctions it would take to long for patrol to rescue skiers before hypothermia set in. That is why those chairs will not run when it is this cold.

What amazes me is the lack of people and 3 days later I’m still skiing fresh. I ran into Steph and we burned up some stashes for the goods.

Actually other than being cold the snow is great. March conditions actually.

Actually it is supposed to snow all week long each day. A couple of inches at a time.

See you guys on the hill.

Tremblant’s Daily Honest Snow/Ski Report w/videos “THUR 22 JAN”

Boy where to start. Well after doing a few runs I ran into Sammy from “Daniel Lachance Ski Service” and Laura from “La Diable” microbrew. So I decided to show them the goods, but first we went down the 10 Trail for this money shot.

Money shot with Sammy sliding fallen tree

I’m not kidding. Today was just magical. The snow was lite dry and just perfect. Temps in the lower 20’s F or -4 to -5C. Sun came out from time to time but mostly it snowed on top of the mtn and on the north side all day long. The south side did have some wind.

Book a minimum of a 2-night stay at one of our participating hotels and have the opportunity to add 5 days of ski/snowboard for only $78* per youth aged between 6 and 17 years old.

Gang you will want to see all of the videos from this magical powder day.

Tremblant’s Daily Honest Snow Report w/videos “WED 21 JAN”

Boy you know someday’s I’m just the luckiest skibum giving back that there is. It started snowing around 10. I had to sit and watch it as my car was being fixed. You can’t drive your car if the windshield wipers won’t work.

So I get to the mtn finally at noon. You would be thinking that everything would be tracked out. WRONG! There is nobody here skiing. Seriously there is nobody here. So folks come skiing with me. The snow is incredible. And all the grooming I was talking about was done, but Grand Prix was closed.

But seriously folks come skiing with us. Just look at the videos from today. It’s amazing. I was like in one fabulous skiing playground today. Jumping off of pillow rocks. I went over this one normally 15′ cliff. If you look at the video it’s not that high anymore. But watch the video from when I land. Poof!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But my afternoon started off in a stash area. Last October 25th we got this heavy wet snowstorm that knocked down alot of trees. Well now they are launching pads. hehehe

Next I trekked over to another spot to check out. I was pleased with what I had found.

Then I went and checked out the Edge. Ooh nice sweet turns in the trees.

Lower Powerline was just a dream hoping around.

Then finally I ended my day on the trail that was taken away to build condos that will never be. THANK GOD
